Awards 2015 How to enter

Making your nominations for the awards is easy and FREE of charge!

Just follow these easy steps:

  1. Consider work that you and your organisation are proud of and has had significant impact in the fundraising arena.
  2. Review the categories and read their descriptions carefully to help you decide which ones are most appropriate for your nominations.
  3. On the online nominations page, click the Nominate button  by the side of the categories you are interested in and review the online entry form.  Pay close attention to the questions and their associated word counts.
  4. Choose the most appropriate categories for your nominations.  You may submit the same piece of work or project for more than one category if the criteria fit.
  5. IMPORTANT:  the online nomination forms may time out if left on screen for too long so it is advisable to first make a copy of the form you need.  Pull together your information and draft your question answers to the correct word counts (answers over the stated word counts will not be considered, so please be careful).
TIP:  A good place to start is reviewing any documentation relating to the project proposal or brief plus the outcome achieved in results reporting and findings.
  6. When you are happy with your text, copy and paste it into the online form’s boxes and read through to check it thoroughly.
  7. Hit the SUBMIT button!

That’s all there is to it so we wish you good luck in your nominations, you could be a winner!

The awards shortlists will be announced in May.

Also, don’t forget to reserve your tickets for the awards dinner at Shakespeare’s Globe Underglobe on 10th June – ticket information to be announced soon.

It’s been another challenging year for many fundraising organisations, and generally speaking, despite some early signs of economic recovery, charitable donations have been under more pressure than ever.

So there’s been no shortage of incentive for charities to get creative with their fundraising strategies. Have a think about the great things that you and your teams have achieved in the past year – I’m certain you’ll come up with examples of work that could give you the chance to win one of our coveted gongs. We’ve re-vamped the category titles and scope, so you should have no trouble finding at least one award to go for. On top of this, it’s free to enter and you can put your work up for recognition in as many relevant categories as you like.

And as if that wasn’t enough, this year’s awards will be held at London’s Shakespeare’s Globe Underglobe on the South Bank – a stunning venue to suit a tremendous occasion.

If you’ve attended these awards – and perhaps even won – in past years, you won’t need reminding of the beneficial effect that they can have: it’s a great morale booster for your team and a fantastic testimonial for your clients.

For 2015, we’ve revised the nomination site and once again provided a ‘how to’ guide.        It couldn’t be easier to enter so there’s really no excuse!

Final deadline for entries is 5pm on 15th April, so get nominating!

Let’s make the 2015 Insight in Fundraising Awards the best yet!
