Contract: Permanent

Salary: £34,512

Location: Bristol

Closing Date: 11th October 2019

Interviews: 18th October 2019 (Bristol)

Today, 12 children and young people in the UK hear the shocking news they have cancer. CLIC Sargent is the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families, and provides them with clinical, practical, emotional and financial support. You can be a part of helping them cope with cancer and get the most out of life.

Pop star, astronaut, ninja. So you might not be doing the job you wanted when you were young, but being an Insight Manager to help young lives against cancer could be the next best thing.

Leading a team of analyst legends, you’ll partner with departments across CLIC Sargent with analysis and insight expertise, being clear about how evidence and insight can answer key business questions, like how do we get our supporters to stay longer, do more and give more.

You’ll have experience of leading data, analysis or insight teams and be able to demonstrate how you led them to great things. You’ll boast a range of skills, but not boast about it. You’ll be able to sniff out nice to have (but unnecessary) insight from that which can really change how an organisation thinks. You’ll be a numbers person who can forecast accurately, build propensity models and structure quant analysis.

You will set yourself extremely high standards and be a master in taking your colleagues – both in your team and across the charity – with you. Most important of all is a passion for your work and for our fight for young lives against cancer.

What we offer:

In return we offer a competitive salary, impressive benefits, tea, cake and the opportunity to be part of one of the most exciting charities around. We are always looking for talented people from all backgrounds, to join us and help improve the lives of children and young people with cancer and their families. We particularly want to encourage people from under-represented groups to step forward and apply to work or volunteer with CLIC Sargent.

CLIC Sargent is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
