The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is seeking a Database Manager to be responsible for administering, maintaining and improving data management processes within Development and Alumni Relations.

As Database Manager, you will oversee LSHTM’s constituent database of over 30,000 records while actively striving to improve processes, knowledge and utility of data to support alumni and development activity. A leading advocate for data-centric thinking in the department, your role will see you managing gift processing and reconciliation, project manage key metrics, as well as producing reports, analysis and insight for colleagues across the School.

This role sits within the Operations Team of the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO). The department develops and supports relationships with a growing body of philanthropic supporters and a 20,000 strong alumni community that can be found in over 180 countries around the world. Philanthropy is of growing importance to the School and excellent donor relationships are critical to our success. 

You will have a keen eye for detail with a logical way of thinking, an understanding of fundraising in the higher education sector and a passion for research and education in public and global health. You will combine significant experience of Raiser’s Edge, project management skills and an excellent knowledge of the regulatory environment.
