A new role has arisen for a Database Manager to join this lifesaving charity.

With a helicopter to keep in the air and lifesaving equipment to purchase it is important we get our fundraising right. With new legislation coming in to effect regarding how people can be contacted you will use you knowledge and understanding of Data Protection legislation to ensure that we keep our donors happy and supported all within the law.

Our chosen CRM is Raiser Edge. With database management and ownership you will oversee data selection, data cleansing and liaise with external customers to provide information for mailings such as our in house magazine Anglia Lift Off. Alongside this you will manage data for our Raffle and event mailings, which generate a large income for the charity, and other targeted campaigns.

Gift aid is an important aspect of the role and with your understanding of this you will work closely with the Financial Services department helping to maximise reclaims as well as reconciliations and audits of the data.

Using your management and communication skills you will lead your team to develop the charity’s ‘Super User’ group and central user guide, helping to deliver training and support across the organisation and develop best practices and compliance.
