Contract: Permanent

Salary: £35,683 p.a.

Location: Central London

Closing Date: 8th October 2017

You’re not just good at analysing data. You have the ability to find patterns, identify trends, spot anomalies and transform raw figures into meaningful insights with the power to inform decisions.

And that’s why you could fit in perfectly at Alzheimer’s Society.

As the UK’s leading support and research charity in the field of dementia, we now have a supporter database of around one million records. Your role? To help us harness the full potential of this database in pursuit of our ambitious 5-year fundraising strategy. This will involve using FastStats software – which runs out of the Progress CRM fundraising database – to provide clear analysis and reporting to teams across our fundraising directorate. Your performance will have a direct impact on the success of our fundraising marketing campaigns, the quality of our statistical reporting and the development of effective strategies for increasing income and reducing supporter attrition. You will also develop robust procedures to ensure data quality and use your expertise to suggest ways of improving our systems.

This influential role calls for an exceptional individual with extensive experience of large contact management databases and database selections, ideally within a fundraising environment. Along with experience of FastStats or a similar package, you will know how to implement and manage database and statistical analysis systems. Strong project management and quality management skills are also essential, and you will know how to work effectively with both colleagues and external partners. Add to that your excellent presentation and time-management skills – and your strong belief in the aims of Alzheimer’s Society – and you will quickly become an invaluable member of our team.
