Database Marketing Executive

£23,500 – £25,500 per annum

Joining the Database Marketing team within the Fundraising directorate, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely data supply and insight to our colleagues in Fundraising and across the organisation.

Carrying out targeted and segmented mailing extractions and analysis projects, you will help to maximize income and build our supporter base.    You will also contribute to the maintenance of data integrity and provide training and support to all users.

You will be experienced and adept in using fundraising or marketing databases and analysis and reporting tools and in preparing, organising and outputting data for marketing purposes. You should have a demonstrable history of accurate data handling and the ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of database users.

About the Job

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our Marketing Insight team. Reporting into the Strategic Analyst, you’ll work alongside a team of Analysts to drive value from our supporter data and to provide insight that will shape and deliver our future Fundraising & Marketing strategies.

You will work closely with teams across CR-UK to understand their goals and subsequently provide advice and insight derived from detailed analysis. You will identify opportunities from supporter data sets and brief in appropriate analysis projects to take advantage of them.

About You

To take on this role you will have experience of delivering analysis projects and working with business teams to understand their needs. You will have strong communication skills and be able to present findings and recommendations confidently and clearly.

You will have experience of working with statistical software packages and have a track record of turning analysis and insight into business value.

Our Database Manager will work at the heart of Battersea’s Fundraising team as we embark on an ambitious growth strategy that has a strong emphasis on expanding our direct marketing programme.

Responsible for managing, developing and maintaining the Home’s supporter database (Raisers Edge) to deliver improved donor relationships and fundraising data. 

Develop and manage a data strategy and robust processes (including data selection and imports) to ensure the highest standards of data quality and data management across the Home. Develop and deliver a range of reports and analysis to inform future fundraising activity. 

Act as data champion to ensure data is being used in the most beneficial way, and oversee all data requests and activities. 

We are looking for an exceptional manager to lead our new and talented Database team at this exciting time. You will be instrumental in taking our supporter database to a new level and in enabling and informing our future growth.
