Are you someone who loves using data to provide insight that helps organisations to make sound decisions and set clear direction? CAFOD (the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development), one of the UK’s leading international aid agencies, is looking for a data analyst to help us inform and develop our supporter strategy.

Based in the Data and Insight team, you will equip CAFOD with the knowledge and insight necessary to determine our plans for working with the Catholic community in England and Wales. Using the wealth of data in our supporter database and your highly developed technical and analytical skills, you will be responsible for providing the clear insights that enable the organisation to evidence decision making.

With the recent launch of our new database, this role will play a key role in developing our ongoing approach to analysis, audience segmentation and selection, supporting the organisation’s ambitious plans.

Your Profile

You are a proficient data analyst with insight experience. Your SQL skills are exceptional and you are able to apply these skills to interrogate complex databases to maximum effect. You enjoy sharing knowledge within a team and like helping a wide group of colleagues achieve their goals. You are a clear communicator with a curious mind who is genuinely enthusiastic about how data can be used to transform decision making in organisations.

Job Scope

The Data Analyst is a senior role within the Data and Insight Unit, a team of 4 people, reporting to the Head of Data and Insight. S/he works closely with a wide range of colleagues across the organisation including fundraising, digital, volunteering, education and campaigns.
