The Stroke Association is the leading UK stroke charity. We have been leading the fight against stroke for over 20 years. We influence and campaign to improve stroke care and support people to make the best possible recovery.

This is a very exciting time for our charity and we hope you will join us on our journey. We believe in a world where there are fewer strokes and all those touched by stroke get the help they need.

We fund world-class research to develop new treatments and ways to prevent the devastation of stroke. Breakthroughs in treatment have halved the number of people dying from stroke in the UK but it is still the second biggest killer in the world. That is why we are involved in projects across the globe.

Join us and together we can conquer stroke.

Are you fanatical about data and how it can help an organisation grow by making smart decisions?  Are you good at presenting complex information in a way that tells a clear story and gets people to take action? If so, then we may have the role for you!

The Stroke Fundraising Team is recruiting its first Data Analyst, and the role will help the organisation truly understand its supporters and how we can improve our Fundraising performance.    The role will lead on analysis on our Fundraising database using SQL, Excel and other query tools. This will involve working with the fundraising teams to plan tests so we can better understand our supporters.  You will be responsible for presenting this data in a way to best influence fundraising teams to act on the insights and finding you made.

To do this we are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, strong business acumen so they know what data is important and with the ability to influence teams by being able to present complex data in a way that resonates with them.

You will be working with all teams in Fundraising and with other teams across the organisation to understand what other data sets we have to help us grow a better understanding of our supporters. You will specifically work closely with the Fundraising database team to ensure the database is set up to allow easy analysis.
